Thank you for your interest in Lionsgate Academy. Our enrollment process involves a lottery system through which prospective families will be entered into the lottery for either the Minnetonka campus or the Shoreview campus, based on the location that is closest to the student’s primary residence. (For more information on our boundary areas, please see our Enrollment Policy and our School Boundary Map.)
Submitting an application to Lionsgate Academy does not guarantee enrollment. Parents/Guardians must submit an application to the grade that the student would enroll in if enrolled in the student’s resident district.
All students who enter Lionsgate Academy are enrolled through graduation. Siblings will have preference on the waitlist should they want to enroll. The wait list does not carry over from year to year, so any student not gaining entry in any given year will need to reapply for the following year.

Lionsgate Academy Applications
Our enrollment is complete for the 2026-2027 school year and we are no longer accepting applications. Any spots that open up will be filled from our waitlist. We are currently accepting applications for the 2027-2028 lottery. Any applications received between now and December 31, 2026 will be added to a random lottery that will be conducted the first week in January.

Open Houses
Each Lionsgate Academy campus (Minnetonka, Shoreview and North St. Paul) holds an annual Open House, typically in the late fall/early winter. Our Open House events give you the opportunity to tour our locations, meet staff and learn more about our programming. Watch this space for upcoming dates and sign-up instructions.
Information Sessions
A Lionsgate Academy Prospective Family Info Session is a great way for interested families to learn more about Lionsgate Academy and to get answers to questions about our school. These virtual meetings are intended for prospective families only, currently enrolled families who have any questions should contact their case manager.
