Lionsgate Academy’s AIM Program will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, November 6th from 6-8 p.m. at AIM’s new location: 2342 Helen Street North, North St. Paul, 55109. Lionsgate Academy’s 11th/12th grade students are encouraged to attend with their families. Community members who have supported the “launch” of AIM and/or who are interested in partnering with AIM in the future will also be invited. Any students interested in participating in this year’s All-School Play (formerly known as The Spring Play) should complete a sign-up form. Please turn it into Ms. Prill or Mr. Suggs in the MPR1 by Friday, November 7th. The sign-up form and rehearsal schedules can be found at the front desk or in the MPR1. The AIM program enjoyed a visit from Congresswoman Betty McCollum, North St. Paul Mayor Mike Keuhn, and other city officials on September 23, 2014. Congresswoman McCollum affirmed AIM’s use of public transportation as she had supported legislation which expanded public transportation service in North St. Paul. Mayor Keuhn also applauded the AIM program for serving young adults with autism and additionally stated that North St. Paul is very happy to have the Lionsgate AIM program in their community. Several AIM students had the opportunity to meet these esteemed guests and discuss various aspects of the program.
