As part of both middle school and high school business classes, students have been participating in the year-long Minnesota Stock Market Game. Attached to the game is an optional essay writing competition called InvestWrite. This year, Ms. Person submitted Luke H.’s essay to the competition and he wrote the top essay in the whole state of Minnesota! Friday, April 22nd a representative from BestPrep came to Lionsgate to present Luke with a certificate, and brought some pizza to celebrate. Luke will also be invited to BestPrep’s annual luncheon for an official awards ceremony in May. Congratulations Luke! We are proud of you!

We are currently requesting bids for a photographer for the Lionsgate Academy Prom. It will be held on May 14th from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the St. Louis Park Rec Center. We would like for the photographer to set up and be ready to take pictures of attendees by 5:30 pm and through the conclusion of the dance. Within two weeks, we would like for photos to be available for distribution to the students.
