LGA’s art students will be planning and creating their own golf course. To prepare, they went to Big Stone Mini Golf Course, Monday, April 20th. Kids did awesome dealing with the less than perfect day, learned about the endless possibilities of creativity, and had some good team building moments. They are now inspired & ready to start planning our own course!
The LGA Lions first ever Quiz Bowl team will be traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday, April 24th, to represent Lionsgate Academy at the Small School National Championship Tournament. The team includes 9th graders Joey F. and Logan K.; 10th graders Terrance G., Noah H., and Sean S, 11th grader Zach C.; and seniors Keldon C. and Fu Li K. Quiz Bowl coaches and Lionsgate staff members Nate Anderson, Aimee Herbes and Joel Justin, along with many LGA parents will accompany the quiz bowlers to Georgia. The preliminary competition will be held on Saturday, April 24th, with nine rounds and a possibility of playoff rounds on Sunday, April 25th.
